The 1983 superhit Bollywood movie ‘Himmatwala‘ starring Jeetendra & Sridevi is being remade and Ajay Devgn & south Indian actress Tamannaah play the lead roles this time around. The movie is set for 2013 release and it is a joint production of Vashu Bhagnani & UTV Motion Pictures. Given Hrithik Roshan’s Agneepath (which was the remake of the 1990 movie with same title starring Amitabh Bachchan) did exceedingly well at the box office, the producers are hopeful that the movie will be a huge hit all over again. Well, mass action movies are having a filed day at Indian box office and no wonder why we have so many of those movies these days. The original Himmatwala made Sridevi an overnight sensation in Bollywood and it remains to be seen if the same will happen for South Indian hottie Tamannaah as well.
